Call for Donations - Annual MRBA Auction

UK industry charity the Market Research Benevolent Association (MRBA) is calling for donations for its annual online charity auction, which aims to raise funds for MR industry workers who have fallen on hard times. This year, the auction runs from 1st to 18th March.

The MRBA is funded by donations from across the market research sector, and since 1977 has provided financial support and advice to UK-based colleagues who work or have worked in any aspect of market research. The annual auction is its most important fundraising event, with previous donations having included holiday lets, delegate tickets to industry events, restaurant vouchers, food hampers and fine wine, and a curry for six people, prepared in the successful bidder's own home by industry legend Tariq Mirza. TNS President Tony Cowling, who is a regular donor to the auction, says he believes it is right that those who were lucky enough to benefit from a long and happy career in the industry should contribute, as best they can, to those equally hard working members of the industry who have not been so fortunate.
