UX Specialist Ohana Finds New Family at 360insights

Canadian firm 360insights has acquired UX specialist The Ohana Companies, with the aim of enhancing its Channel Success Platform.

Jason Atkins360insights is based in Whitby, Ontario and has operations around the USA and in the UK - in the last 12 months it has grown nearly 50% and acquired four companies. The Channel is an integrated SaaS solution bringing all a user's data onto one single platform, providing smart insights and business intelligence to help brands optimize their channel incentive spending. It was launched in February 2016 as the company changed its name from 360incentives, following a $10m funding win to support development of its predictive analytics offering.

The latest acquisition, Ohana, focuses on the consumer rebate space, and 360 founder and CEO Jason Atkins (pictured) says integrating its practices and 'tribal knowledge' will further strengthen his firm's platform and service. He adds: 'As brands look to maximize their incentive spend, they're finding that the best way to achieve success is by consolidating their data on a single platform. We're providing that holistic solution by bringing together our leadership in business intelligence and insights, with Ohana's domain expertise and focus on user experience'.

Ohana CEO Eric Rubino comments: 'Since 2007, Ohana has innovated the rebates process with technology advancements and a customer-focused approach. 360insights realized the value of our capabilities and we're thrilled to integrate them with 360's award-winning platform'.

Atkins says recent projections from Forrester Research 'point to a narrowing of the incentives field, with nearly 100 providers expected to roll into four or five horizontal winners in the next few years', and that 360insights will continue acquisitions to maintain its momentum and continue to build its position.
