SampleChain Adds Decipher and Lucid Co-founders to Board

Jamin Brazil and Christy Luquire have joined the Board of Directors of data quality and anti-fraud software platform SampleChain.

Jamin Brazil and Christy LuquireFounded in 2018 by Lucid's former Chief of Staff Vignesh Krishnan and headquartered in New Orleans, SampleChain builds technology used across sampling and MR, including matching respondents to relevant surveys and identifying the threshold prices for a respondent in real-time. The company also uses machine learning and rules-based technology to help identify fraudulent data sets, respondents and bots; using millions of datapoints to analyze a fraudster's previous activity, and predictively detect whether their given tendencies are likely to indicate more fraud or not.

Brazil co-founded Decipher in 2000, and then sold it to FocusVision fifteen years later, when he became FocusVision's CEO. Earlier, he worked for MACRO Consulting as VP of Research, and founded data management firm WebConstruction.com. More recently, he set up Fresno-based Happy Market Research to help companies 'generate outsized returns and growth' and offer free podcasts exploring the state of the MR industry.

Luquire is the former CFO and co-founder of programmatic sample platform Lucid. Earlier, she spent eight years at Wells Fargo's investment bank, latterly as VP, FX Specialist; and she is also a Managing Director of an investment company, Texas Halo Fund.

Commenting on the Board appointments, Krishnan said: 'We aspire to build a great team throughout our company. We have a great technology and sales and operations team, and now we have a strong Board member team. We really cannot be more pleased or fortunate to have two highly successful executives joining us. These appointments strengthen our business proposition and enable us to plan for our next stage of growth'.
