MFour Names New Chief Technology Officer

In the US, mobile research specialist MFour has appointed former Corelogic exec Aaron Wepler as Chief Technology Officer. He replaces Wendell Hicken, who left in October to take up the post of CTO at MR business Sense360.

Aaron WeplerMFour uses GPS technology to collect information at what it calls the 'point of emotion'; and offers the Surveys On The Go app, providing access to an all-mobile panel, and the MFourDIY survey tool. In addition, the firm's Path2-Purchase Platform enables users to field real-time location-based surveys and capture motivations and emotions at 'any point' in the purchasing cycle; and its Digital Brand Studies service taps into the company's all-mobile panel of 2.5 million US consumers to provide representation of target mobile audiences for digital ad campaigns.

Wepler (pictured) joins after three years at residential property sector analytics and solutions provider Corelogic, where as Senior Director of Software Engineering & Technology he led a cross-departmental team of 70, to deliver a cloud-agnostic enterprise data and analytics platform. Earlier, he held data architect, data engineering and business intelligence developer roles at Pivotal Software (now a part of VMWare), healthcare analytics startup Accelerated Vision, water management business Layne, and the Federal Bank of Kansas City.

In his new position, Wepler will focus on developing and executing MFour's product strategy, and creating SaaS-based advanced analytics. CEO Chris St. Hilaire comments: 'Location and digital data, combined with consumer insights, is something market research desperately needs. Aaron is just the right tech leader to help us deliver products that combine surveys with data'.
