Medallia Hires for ANZ Country Manager Role

In Sydney, Australia, customer experience management specialist Medallia has appointed Heather Paterson as ANZ Country Manager, to lead the existing Australia team and the launch of operations in New Zealand.

The firm's SaaS platform, the Medallia Experience Cloud, helps users understand and manage the experiences of customers, employees and citizens. The platform captures 'experience signals' created on daily journeys in person, on calls and via digital channels - including video and social media and IoT interactions. It then uses proprietary AI technology to uncover personalized and predictive insights. Earlier this year, the company acquired real-time speech-to-text platform Voci Technologies, and video feedback platform LivingLens, having last year taken over behavioural analytics platform Cooladata.

Paterson (pictured) joins following more than seven years at SaaS financial technology provider, Intralinks, where she was most recently Director for Asia Pacific and Japan; and previously served as Sales Director - Australia & New Zealand. Earlier, she held senior sales roles at POS real-time sales data firm Pointpal, and sales recruitment agency Pareto Law.
