Unruly Names ANZ Managing Director

Video ad distribution and tracking platform Unruly has appointed former IPG Mediabrands Singapore CEO David Haddad as Australia and New Zealand Managing Director, based in the firm's Sydney office.

Owned by Tremor International, Unruly uses emotional data to deliver targeted advertising to billions of people. The company tracks video views using a proprietary measurement platform and analytics dashboard, through which brands and agencies can measure the impact of their social media video strategies against their competitors'. In addition, the company uses historical sharing behaviour to predict the potential for video ads to go viral across all digital touch points.

Haddad (pictured) joins with more than seventeen years' ad industry experience, gained in senior agency roles in Australia and Singapore. In hsi most recent role at IPG Mediabrands he oversaw agencies including UM and Initiative, prior to which he was the General Manager of UM Sydney, leading the office operations and client management function. He has also worked for agencies Mediacom AU and Bellamy Hayden.

At Unruly, Haddad reports to Group MD, International, Alex Khan, who comments: 'The Australian and New Zealand markets are key growth territories for us, so having David's incredible leadership skills, vast knowledge and industry know-how will be crucial as we continue to roll out our exciting all-screen capabilities to our clients.
