RealityMine Launches Streamed Audio Content Measure

UK-based mobile research tech firm RealityMine has launched a product called RealLife Audio, to capture and report on the streamed audio content that panellists have listened to across a range of music, radio, podcast and audiobook streaming services.

Billy GrantRealityMine provides individual level mobile usage data via a data collection tool called RealityMeter. The firm's RealLife Profiles solution provides a daily summary of passively collected data on individual panellists; RealLife Media Players allows customers to view more detailed video consumption behaviour on any sample and any device; and RealLife Shopper provides a daily report of consumers' product browsing and purchasing behaviour within retailers' web sites and apps. Last month, the firm added streaming platform Disney+ to its RealLife service to enable firms to gather insights from consumer behaviour across the streaming platform.

The latest tool, RealLife Audio, delivers a standardised, single source feed of the audio players that opted-in panellists are using and the content they are listening to. This sits alongside existing feeds providing insight into web browsing, app usage, physical location, and streamed video on demand viewing. Clients can also access information such as the name of the application used, the content being listened to, and the duration over which it was consumed.

Head of Product Billy Grant (pictured) comments: 'Measurement of audio services is rapidly becoming an essential pillar in measurement and insight strategies. RealLife Audio provides our clients with research-ready data that will provide an unparalleled view of audio content consumption across sectors continuing to see signification investment and ongoing disruption'.

The firm, which has offices in Manchester, London, Stockholm and Sydney, is online at www.realitymine.com .
