Eye Tracker Tobii Confirms Srivatsa as New CEO

Swedish eye tracking developer Tobii has confirmed that Anand Srivatsa will take up the position of Chief Executive Officer from this Thursday, 9th December. He replaces co-founder Henrik Eskilsson, who announced his intention to step down in April.

Anand SrivatsaTobii creates eye tracking hardware and software, allowing technology to understand human attention and intent. Earlier this year, the group announced its intention to spin off its Dynavox arm, which develops speech generating devices, eye trackers and eye gaze/eye-controlled devices for people with disabilities and special needs.

Srivatsa (pictured) has two decades of high-tech industry experience and has served as Division CEO of Tobii Tech since 2019. Before this, he spent fifteen years at Intel, latterly as VP in the Client Computing Group and General Manager of the firm's Desktop, Systems and Channel Groups; and he held various senior sales and marketing positions at Intel in the US and Taiwan.

Kent Sander, Chairman of Tobii's Board of Directors, comments: 'I would like to begin by thanking Henrik for his role in building not just one but two fantastic companies over the past two decades, Tobii and Tobii Dynavox. Two companies that through their solutions and with their excellent business ethics have made a fundamentally positive impact on the world. As a representative of the owners, I am very pleased with the recruitment of Anand, who is an extremely competent CEO, and Henrik's decision to continue to contribute to both Tobii and Tobii Dynavox'.
