Suzy Buys Beauty Sector Research Platform Poshly.com

New York-based consumer insights platform Suzy has acquired beauty sector-focused research platform Poshly.com (also known as Lucky Analytics). Terms of the deal have not been disclosed.

Doreen BlochPoshly provides access to on-demand consumer insights for the cosmetics and personal care industry, to drive product launch decisions. Since starting out in 2012, the firm has collected more than 50,000,000 responses from a million consumers across over 10,000 questions including demographics, psychographics and product preferences.

The acquisition will expand Suzy's own category presence and qual research capabilities, including its recent launch of in-home testing unit Suzy Home. As part of the deal, Poshly CEO Doreen Bloch (pictured) has joined Suzy as Vice President of Audience Management, overseeing the rollout of Suzy Home and tasked with driving the growth of Suzy Live, the firm's in-depth interview solution that supports consumer electronics, beauty, CPG, F&B, and retail clients. The acquisition also adds to Suzy's audience of beauty and personal care consumers.
