Promotions Across Five Offices for Verve

Insight and communities firm Verve has announced eighteen promotions across its locations in London, Manchester, Sydney, Iasi (Romania) and Johannesburg, including the appointment of Kim Howard as Semiotics Research Director.

Kim HowardVerve was launched in 2008 and currently describes its offer as 'cultural, human and artificial intelligence for supercharged insight and communities'. Recent years have seen it add a new Global Advanced Quant and Analytics practice; a consultancy offer called Ignite AI; an ESG service called People & Planet; and an AI-based system of virtual respondents called Intelligent Personas.

Howard joined the company two years ago and has since played a significant role in the growth of its Cultural Intelligence arm, while helping to raise the profile of semiotics in the broader marketing industry. Her work includes the 'Future of Soaps' partnership with BBC Studios, recently awarded the MRS Virginia Valentine Award for Cultural Insight; and contributing her semiotics expertise to features for publications such as Forbes, Dazed, The Grocer, Women's Health and Cosmetics Design. In her new role she will continue to build out the practice, combining semiotics with other inputs including anthropology, quant and social data, and AI. She will be assisted by another promotee, Meg Palmer who becomes Research Manager, Semiotics.

Verve has also promoted Danny Vio, Tomi Durosinmi, Samuel Winterbottom, Ben McIntyre and Lauren Irwin to Associate Director and Karol Kulesza to Research Manager; Dhavanya Pillay to SRE and Jacob Barns, Saskia Racke, Rachel Hughes, Jade Isaacs and Will Wallis to Research Executive.

In its Operations team, Ksenia Zdorovets has been promoted to Senior Data Executive and Alexandru Rosca to Data Processing Executive, while Darius Comanescu and Petronela Oatu become Scripting Executives.
