Synovate China Launches eNation Omnibus

Synovate China has launched a bi-monthly online omnibus to offer clients access to Chinese consumers' tastes, habits and attitudes.

eNation is an extension of the company's global and regional omnibus surveys. Every fortnight, the pay-per-question service will survey 1,000 consumers in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou in the 18-49 year-old age group. The study will have the capability to show texts, visuals, video and audio and offers access to 1.2 million panel members across China.

Synovate China CEO Darryl Andrew believes that the new product 'raises the bar' in terms of quality, price, positioning and speed. 'With fresh, customised data available every two weeks, this kind of turnaround time can really help make or break business opportunities in China. Online surveys are particularly helpful for finding out information on more personalised topics whilst minimising interviewer and social response bias.'

Synovate also offers a monthly omnibus telephone survey called AsiaBUS, which reaches 19,000 respondents across 14 Asian markets.

In July the company, online at www.synovate.com , re-structured its Asian business with future growth in mind (www.mrweb.com/drno/news7060.htm ).
