Former Experian MD to Lead infoUSA UK Subsidiary

Data giant and parent of Opinion Research Corporation, infoUSA, has appointed former Experian Business Information MD Richard Lloyd as General Manager of its new infoUK.com business.

Richard LloydThe new division is being established to compile a database of addresses for every business in the UK (www.mrweb.com/drno/news7715.htm ), with Lloyd responsible for the launch of the new database and for leading the company's move into business-to-business marketing.

Now in his twenty-first year in the database industry, Lloyd joins from data boutique Cyance where for the past year he has worked as MD. Prior to this, he spent six years with consumer data firm Experian, establishing the b2b marketing division and developing the National Business Database and Commercial MOSAIC classification for businesses. He previously spent 14 years with Dun & Bradstreet; latterly as Director of Database Marketing Services for Europe. Lloyd regularly speaks on b2b issues for both the DMA (Direct Marketing Association) and IDM (Institute of Direct Marketing), and he has also co-authored the Handbook of B2B Marketing.

Earlier this week, infoUSA reported record Q4 revenue of $185.8m, which included $67m for the Marketing Research Group established in December 2006 (www.mrweb.com/drno/news7899.htm ).
