Till Departs as TNS Creates Single 'Americas' Division

TNS's CEO for North America Kimberley Till is to leave, as the firm merges its North American and Latin American custom business to create one region, 'The Americas'.

Till joined in May 2006 from Microsoft where she was VP of the Worldwide Media and Entertainment Group. Prior to this, she held senior positions at AOL and Sony, and served as a Special Assistant for the FBI (www.mrweb.com/drno/news5421.htm ). In a statement, TNS said that Till was leaving to pursue 'other interests'.

CEO David Lowden said Till had joined the firm to address the overall performance of its custom business in North America and to restructure the operation: 'Kimberly has successfully achieved this and put TNS on a very stable footing in this important market. We are grateful for her valuable contribution and wish her every success in the future.'

Under the new structure, Pedro Ros, TNS MD Global Clients & Sectors, is now responsible for planning the regional change that will take effect in 2009. He also takes overall responsibility for TNS's North America Custom operations in addition to his existing role, until a Head of Americas has been appointed. Ros has been with TNS for more than 20 years and became a member of the TNS board in 2006 (www.mrweb.com/drno/news5047.htm ).

Lowden explained the reasoning behind the reorganization: 'Our clients are seeing significant opportunities and marketing synergies from addressing the Americas market as a whole and there's a compelling case for aligning our organisation with client needs in this way.'
