McCallum Layton Hires Two

UK research and marketing insight consultancy McCallum Layton has hired former Nunwood exec John McCambley as Brand Marketing & Communications Manager, and Synovate's Mark Gentry as Research Manager.

John McCambley and Mark GentryUntil the end of the year, McCambley was Nunwood's Head of Marketing, having previously held positions at Sainsbury's, Rothmans and Philips in Hamburg, Germany. He is a Business Management graduate from the University of Ulster in Northern Ireland.

CEO and co-founder Duncan McCallum commented: 'John brings a wealth of senior marketing expertise from both client and agency side to our company, and this hire matches our ambition in bringing some of the industry's best talent to our agency.'

Gentry joins with more than 15 years' industry experience, gained most recently at Synovate. He holds a BA in Economics and an MA in International Studies from the University of Warwick.

Leeds-based McCallum Layton recently relocated its CATI unit to Headingley, and expanded the operation to provide a capacity increase of 36%.
