CATI Expansion for UK Firm

March 10 2008

Leeds-based McCallum Layton has significantly expanded its Computer Aided Telephone Interviewing (CATI) Unit, relocating it to new premises in Headingley, Yorkshire.

The new unit, on three floors, gives 36% more capacity, allowing more than 100,000 MR interviews to be undertaken per year with consumers and businesses. The firm says the expansion reflects new, long-term, business won throughout 2007 with clients ranging from Ofwat to global blue chip companies. Current clients have also increased their use of McCallum Layton leading to an expansion of the Head Office team by about 25%, at Bramley Grange on the outskirts of Leeds.

Duncan McCallum, who founded the business with Kathy Layton in 1982, says the firm is 'building on its strengths' following a very successful 2007, having always operated its own telephone interview unit to ensure the quality and integrity of work.
