Ad Agency Promotes Customer Intelligence Chief
In the US, ad agency Draftfcb has promoted its Chief Customer Intelligence Officer, Michael Fassnacht, to the newly created role of Worldwide Chief Strategy Officer.
Draftfcb is part of the Interpublic Group of Companies.
Fassnacht was Director of Customer Intelligence at Draft Chicago from 2005 until Draftfcb's formation a year later. Previously, he founded analytics firm Loyalty Matrix, in 2002. He is a regular contributor to trade publications including Ad Age, Mediaweek and MediaPost.
In his new role, he will help set overall corporate strategy, with global leaders in media, planning, customer intelligence, digital strategy, retail, promotion, customer relationship management, and worldwide marketing resource services all reporting to him. He will also maintain his close connection to several clients, while helping to coordinate major new international business opportunities.
