Dr Sandra Bauman, President of Bauman Research & Consulting, has been named 2009 Business Woman of the Year by the New Jersey Association of Women Business Owners (NJAWBO). The award recognizes a woman business owner who distinguishes herself in her business, her community and in NJAWBO. Bauman was selected by a panel of women business owners from among six nominees representing NJAWBO’s 13 chapters located statewide. Bauman founded her marketing research company in 2002, prior to which, she was VP at Wirthlin Worldwide, where she established and led the firm’s e-Solutions division, focusing on Internet, technology and e-business research and consulting. Before this, she was a Senior Project Manager at Roper Starch, and worked as Assistant Manager at the Northwestern University Survey Laboratory.
