In the US, marketing and communications research firm HCD Research has appointed James O’Hara as Executive Vice President, to direct and manage the company’s business development.

O’Hara joins with more than two decades of market research experience across a broad range of industries. Most recently, he served as EVP at TRA, where he was responsible for media research sales, client service and marketing. Prior to this, he was General Manager at MarketTools, VP of Research at the National Golf Foundation, VP at Burke Inc, and held various operations and business development roles at M/A/R/C, where he began his career. He has an MA in Marketing Research from the University of Georgia.

‘Jim's vast knowledge of market and media research methodologies and his success in securing long-term engagements with leading advertisers is directly in-line with our key business initiatives going forward,’ stated President and CEO Glenn Kessler. ‘Jim will play a critical role in our research and development efforts to expand our service offerings, and direct our sales efforts toward securing key accounts in targeted vertical industries.’
