In the US, supply chain research specialist AMR Research has expanded its team with the addition of three analysts. Steve Steutermann joins with 25 years’ experience. He previously held sales, marketing, process improvement, and operations roles focusing on the consumer product industry’s supply chain at companies including Procter & Gamble and Gillette. In his new role, Paul Lord will lead research in the chemical and process industries, concentrating on transportation and inventory optimization, manufacturing and supply chain excellence. He also has 25 years’ experience at chemical companies including Air Products and Chemicals, ARCO Chemical, and Lyondell Chemical. Allen Johnson joins as a Research Director, covering industrial and consumer supply chains. Most recently, Johnson worked at business process management firm IDS Scheer, prior to which, he worked at Hewlett-Packard for 15 years. AMR Research was founded in 1986 and provides subscription advisory services and peer networking opportunities to supply chain, sustainability, and IT executives in the consumer products, life sciences, manufacturing, and retail sectors.
