Media research contender TRA has added Terese Herbig to its sales team, and enhanced its Advisory Board with the appointments of Hank Close and Bob Meyers.

Herbig, until now Senior Vice President of the CPG Vertical for The Nielsen Company, will focus on the same sector at TRA, while Close and Meyers’ role will also focus on sales advice, alongside existing Advisory Board member Rick Sirvaitis.

Before Nielsen, Herbig spent 13 years at Information Resources, Inc. (IRI), latterly in senior marketing roles including interim Chief Marketing Officer.

Close has more than 25 years’ experience of leading and growing network advertising sales, most recently, as President of MTV Networks Advertising Sales; while Meyers has extensive experience in creation and distribution of content for Playboy Enterprises, NBC Universal and Viacom Inc. Sirvaitis’ expertise comes from leading sales at Fox Family Worldwide, Turner Broadcasting Sales and NBC Television Network Sales.
