Former BSkyB exec Alex Vishney has joined Vivid Research in Sydney, Australia as Managing Director of Quantitative Research.

Most recently, Vishney worked at London-based media and consumer agency Essential Research, where as Associate Director and Head of Quantitaitve Research, his remit included providing clients with a more strategic and consultative approach, and overseeing the development of the company’s CAWI concept and media evaluation tools.

Prior to this, he held senior research positions at BskyB, latterly as Acting Head of Research; and worked as Insight Manager at O2, and as a Research Consultant at Sydney-based agency Eureka Strategic Research. He has a BSc in Psychology from the University of New South Wales.

Vishney’s areas of expertise include new product development and testing, creative development research, brand and ad development, market segmentation, and online qual methods.
