Nancy Solano, who as Nancy Wong worked for nine years managing corporate communications for Harris Interactive, has joined Valient Solutions as Vice President, Client Services, Advertising and Public Relations. Reporting to President and CEO Scott D. Upham, she will focus on developing the advertising and public relations vertical markets for Valient Solutions, with a remit that includes business development, marketing and client services. As Harris’s Senior Public Relations Manager she directed global public relations strategy and efforts, including the international dissemination of Harris Polls and other news; building media relationships and establishing internal best practice guidelines. Since leaving, she has worked as an independent PR consultant and as Manager of Marketing Communications for Thomas Industrial Network in New York City. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Wesleyan University, Middletown, Connecticut. Says Upham: ‘Nancy is a well respected market research industry professional with a history of developing relationships with key corporate decision makers.
