Behavioral marketing firm [x+1] has appointed Kenneth Rona as Vice President of Data Strategy and Analytics, to oversee its partnerships with third party data providers and support clients’ analytics needs.

Rona is a social sciences researcher who specializes in helping companies use data to better understand their customers. Before joining, he was SVP at IXI Digital Media, where he led the firm’s analytics and was responsible for building an ad targeting solution based on consumers’ income and other financial data.

Before this, Rona spent two years as Director of Customer Insight and Database Marketing at America Online. He was previously a McKinsey Consultant as well as Director of Research for The Corporate Executive Board. Rona received his PhD in Management from Duke University's Fuqua School of Business.

‘Ken's background in social sciences research and consulting, plus his experience in driving successful marketing optimization efforts at major organizations, makes him a valuable addition to our team,’ said Chairman and CEO John Nardone. ‘He will play a central role in our efforts to ramp up our data partnership program, resulting in a richer trove of consumer information available to our clients.’
