Illuminas is transferring Associate Director Gordon Smith from its London office to its operations in New York.
CEO John Connaughton explained that secondments have always been a successful part of the Illuminas global growth strategy and a good way of integrating skill sets across the globe.
While still keeping up his links with the London office to ensure integration across the business, Smith will add expertise in a range of sectors including IT/telecoms and financial services, while helping drive development in the Americas region.
He joined the firm in January from business consultants Anderson Lyall. Prior to this, he worked at Sweeney Pinedo and NOP Business.
