Steven LandryIn the US, automotive research agency RL Polk & Co has appointed former Chrysler exec Steven Landry to its OEM Advisory Board.

Polk collects and interprets global data, and provides automotive business expertise to help customers understand their market position, identify trends, build brand loyalty, win new business and gain a competitive advantage.

Its Advisory Board consists of individuals who have experience in both the business world and automotive industry, and who are charged with advising the firm’s leadership team on various areas of their global OEM (original equipment manufacturer) business.

Landry joins with more than 27 years’ automotive OEM leadership experience including field sales and dealer operations, vehicle distribution, rental and fleet operations, international business, marketing, and parts and service operations. His previous positions include President and CEO of Chrysler Canada and Chrysler Europe, and he also served as EVP, North American Sales & Marketing and Global Service & Parts for Chrysler Corporation.

He joins Pete Gerosa, former VP of Field Sales/Service and Parts for General Motors North America; Paul Baffico, former President of Sears Automotive Group and former Chairman and CEO of Western Auto; and Ray Rota, former General Sales and Marketing Manager for GMC Truck division on Polk's Advisory Board.
