Duncan PainterCanadian data management software firm SAND Technology has appointed Experian Director Duncan Painter; President of Hermitage Canada Finance Michael Pesner; and entrepreneur Daniel Benn to its Board of Directors.

Painter most recently led both the UK Marketing Services and Global Marketing Services Consulting and Delivery businesses at Experian. He previously founded database company ClarityBlue, which he sold to Experian for £85m in 2006.

He has extensive experience with SAND Technology, having headed up the company's European operation for a number of years.

Pesner is a veteran of financial advisory services and investment banking, with expertise in mergers and acquisitions, restructuring, investigative accounting, divestitures and debt and equity financing. He previously spent more than 25 years with KPMG, was Chairman of Thorne Ernst & Whinney, and served on the Board of Directors for Peat Marwick Thorne.

The founder/CEO of several technology companies, Benn is experienced in setting strategic direction, business/tactical planning and execution, initiating and driving growth strategies, managing bottom-line profitability, as well as acquisitions and divestitures.
