Lucie Holliday and Abigail HillLondon-based consumer decision-making consultancy Spring Research has promoted Lucie Holliday to Associate Director and Abigail Hill to Research Executive, following several client wins.

Spring Research, which was founded in 2004 by Stephen Phillips, specialises in understanding consumer motivations using a combination of quant data and qual techniques. Last summer, the firm launched ‘Emotimeter’, a method of measuring the emotional resonance of ad campaigns using emoticons and other ‘novel ingredients’.

Holliday, who joined the firm three years ago, most recently worked as Research Manager. Previously, she was Research Manager at online youth charity YouthNet. She has a geography degree from Cambridge University.

Hill, who prior to her promotion was a Junior Research Executive, has been at Spring Research for 18 months, since graduating with a degree in social anthropology.

‘Lucie and Abi are a joy to work with and they have both added a lot of value to our clients,’ stated Phillips. ‘We look forward to seeing the further research support and insight they can provide clients in their new positions.’
