Kantar's brand and insight specialist Added Value has promoted Dave Blackshaw to the position of Chief Talent Officer, responsible for the recruitment, training and development of staff employed across its 22 international offices. Blackshaw has spent the last nine years working with the group's South African and Asian businesses in both a talent development and client facing capacity. He commenced his career at Unilever, where he rose to the position of HR Operations Manager, and prior to joining Added Value, he worked as a Manager at Accenture. Says Group CEO Janine Hawkins: ‘Our business is entirely built on the skill and intellect our people bring to our clients' most challenging marketing questions – whether they are a director with 20 years experience, or a new graduate. With his background in HR from Unilever, and his 9 years of international experience at Added Value, Dave is the ideal person for the role.’ Blackshaw will be based in the group's London office, from where he will continue to mentor staff based in the firm’s offices in Singapore, India and the Philippines.
