In the US, MarketTools has hired veteran Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) sales executive David Rusher as Senior Vice President, EFM Sales, to oversee the growth of the firm’s EFM solution, CustomerSat.

Rusher has more than 15 years of technology and SaaS sales experience. Most recently he was Regional Vice President for RightNow Technologies, growing subscription and professional services revenue. Before this, he spent 10 years at Siebel Systems, after working at Sterling Commerce and Tandy Information Services.

In addition to CustomerSat and MarketTools.com, the company’s portfolio includes TrueSample, Zoomerang, ZoomPanel and ZoomPanel Tech.

COO Mike Pope says MarketTools has dramatically increased its investment in EFM across the board, including product development, consulting services and marketing as well as sales. He comments: ‘David's successful track record in building and managing teams in high growth environments, his focus on clients' needs, and his ability to pair technology and services to deliver exceptional value to customers will further accelerate our leadership position in the EFM space.’
