UK-based eDigitalResearch has announced the appointments of Gerallt Evans-Hughes as Head of Business Development for the public sector, charged with developing a new offering; and Nick Yates as Business Development Manager.
The hires reflect rapid growth across multiple sectors, according to eDigital.
Yates, who previously worked on development of the ecommerce offering for Virgin Trains and thetrainline.com, brings a detailed understanding and experience of web site usability, and will play a key role in helping to identify and develop new opportunities across markets.
Evans-Hughes previously helped develop the UK public sector offering for Mott Macdonald and BMG Research, and worked as senior education advisor for various local councils in the Midlands. He will work to develop the firm’s market proposition to help public sector organisations gain ‘quick and effective insight to better align public services with public perception and expectation.’
Director Chris Russell says the firm has grown from four to 53 employees since 1999 and comments: ‘In light of public sector spending cuts and the recessionary impact on the private sector, we feel that we can really build our market proposition to help businesses and public sector organisations effectively do more for less.
