In the UK, youth communications specialist Dubit has appointed Dave Gibbs as Head of Youth Media Research.
Dubit’s research arm offers a direct-to-youth panel with access to more than 37,000 young people, schools and families.
Gibbs joins from media conglomerate Viacom’s Brand Solutions division, where he latterly worked as Head of Insight. In five years at the firm, he provided strategic insight and opinion to senior management and stakeholders across the 24-channel portfolio of MTV Networks TV channels and their related online properties.
‘With more than 20 years’ experience in the media research sector, Dave’s specialisms will be a huge asset to Dubit,’ states Marketing and Research Director, Robin Hilton. ‘He will bring a new dimension to the department, to enable us to continue offering the best possible youth insight to our clients.’
