In the US, restaurant chain Ruby Tuesday has hired Dan Dillon as SVP of President of Brand Development, overseeing brand strategy, development, marketing, research, culinary and purchasing.
The group has 656 restaurants branded as Ruby Tuesday, plus 165 domestic and 58 international sites operated by franchisees, and covers 15 countries.
Dillon was most recently Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) for the Outback Steakhouse division of OSI Restaurant Partners. Before this, he was SVP of Portfolio Strategy for The Coca-Cola Company and held marketing posts at ConAgra Foods and the H.J. Heinz Company.
