US-based consumer, government and retail specialist Hebert Research has appointed T. Ron Davis as Senior Vice President, Marketing and Sales, and as a member of its Executive Committee.

The full service company was founded in 1978 and is located in Bellevue, Washington.

Davis joins from Intellect Market Group, which he founded 17 years ago, and of which he was President/CEO, providing sales, marketing and technology consulting to clients in a variety of industries.

Before this, he was Chief Marketing Officer at lighting technology firm Vu1 Corporation, President/CEO of pharmaceutical specialist StrongSquare, and served as Director of Worldwide Sales Training at Microsoft.

Earlier in his career, Davis spent nine years with DEC (Digital Equipment Corporation) in marketing, sales and management roles; and held analyst and management roles with American Express.

In his new position, he will be responsible for strategic direction of all marketing and sales efforts including marketing strategy, branding, advertising, client experience and external communications.
