Evan GoldfarbIn the US, multi-screen measurement firm Rentrak has appointed former LogicLab executive Evan Goldfarb as Senior Vice President of Agency Sales, responsible for growing the ad agency client base for its Advanced Media and Information (AMI) division.

Portland, Oregon-headquartered Rentrak provides audience figures across the box office, home entertainment, video-on-demand and linear TV, broadband and mobile sectors. The firm recently announced a 132% revenue increase in the AMI division, for the quarter ending June 30.

Goldfarb joins with more than 20 years’ experience as a senior leader in the media, market research and direct marketing sectors. Most recently he worked at customer relationship marketing agency Merkle, where as VP of Sales for the firm’s market research division LogicLab, he led business development for emerging product lines.

Before this, he served as EVP of Simmons Market Research, until the firm was acquired by Experian, when he became VP of Sales for Experian Marketing Services. Earlier in his career, Goldfarb worked at Scarborough Research/VNU (now Nielsen).

‘Agency and advertiser sales represent a key customer group for Rentrak's continued growth,’ says Cathy Hetzel, President of the division, to whom Goldfarb will report. ‘Evan's years of experience in working with agencies and segmentation databases make him a perfect fit to expand our database currency initiatives.’
