Mark Reed-EdwardsHorses for Sources (HfS) - a social networking community and advisory / analyst firm which focuses on outsourcing - has appointed Mark Reed-Edwards as Vice President of Marketing.

HfS integrates social networks with market research and advisory services. Its team of analysts provides insight on business process outsourcing, information technology services, and cloud business services.

Reed-Edwards joins with more than two decades’ marketing and communications experience. For the last six years he has worked at Yankee Group, where he developed the firm’s editorial content, web and creative groups, and was responsible for its re-branding in 2006. Before this, he ran web marketing for Intranets.com, which is now part of Cisco, and for EMC Corporation. Earlier, he worked in marketing for Stratus Computer.

‘HfS is committed to producing research for senior executives who have some very tough decisions to make when it comes to outsourcing,’ states founder and CEO Phil Fersht. ‘Having worked extensively with Mark in the past, I’m confident that there is no one better for shaping our content and developing our analyst brand - we’re delighted to have him onboard.’

Earlier in the week, HfS announced the appointment of former Forrester executive Euan Davis and outsourcing specialist Esteban Herrera.
