In the US, Phoenix Marketing International has appointed Elan Katra as Vice President of its Phoenix Healthcare division, where she will be in charge of west coast operations. The practice specializes in oncology, neurology, autoimmune diseases, vaccines, endocrinology, women's health and cardiology. Katra joins with more than 16 years’ research experience. Most recently, she served as a Senior Research Director at Harris Interactive, where she focused on domestic and global oncology research. Before this, she held clientside research roles at pharma firms Actelion and Amgen, prior to which she was Research Director, Client Service at ARBOR (now part of GfK). ‘Elan is a very talented hands-on researcher who thoroughly understands clients’ business issues,’ states Mike Rosenberg, President of Phoenix Healthcare. ‘She has the wonderful combination of strong qual and quant research experience coupled with a background in oncology across market landscape, segmentation, brand equity, positioning and customer satisfaction research.’ Web site: www.phoenixmi.com .
