Sustainable biochemicals specialist Glycos Biotechnologies (GlycosBio) has hired Rob Toker as Vice President of Partnerships and Market Research, responsible for overall partnership strategy and international market research.
Toker will also be focused on feedstock and commodity market analysis, negotiation and contracting. He worked previously as SVP with Sindicatum Carbon Capital (SCC), a London – Singapore based clean energy developer and investment firm on strategies for technology integration and deployment; and prior to this was Head of Trade and Investment in Houston for UK Trade & Investment, working on the conceptualization and execution of industrial biotechnology market strategy linking bio-energy research and development strengths in the UK with those in the Southern USA and Latin America. He began his career at the United Nations in New York.
He is also active in the energy investment community and is the author of Harvard Business Review articles on carbon assets and on technology and climate change.
