Sam DeckerIn the US, Monetate - which tests, targets, and personalizes web sites - has appointed Bazaarvoice Chief Marketing Officer Sam Decker to its Board of Directors.

Monetate helps marketers test product pitches and eCommerce site features, then targets messages to specific audience segments, anywhere on the site, without using clients’ own internal IT resources.

Decker currently leads the marketing efforts at word-of-mouth agency Bazaarvoice. Prior to this, he spent seven years in leadership positions at Dell - including overseeing development of the firm’s consumer web site, and establishing global best practices in merchandising, analytics, product management and operations.
