In the UK, Insight Research Group - the healthcare market research arm of Cello Group - has appointed Lorna Bedford as a Senior Research Executive. Insight, which has offices in Central London and in Midtown Manhattan in the US, was founded in 1983 and now employs around 120 staff. Bedford joins from Genactis, where as a Senior Research Executive she undertook research in areas such as Parkinson’s disease, breast cancer and across the cardiovascular market. Prior to this, she was a Research Executive at healthcare research specialist Double Helix. In her new position, Bedford will work across Insight’s qual and quant offerings on both international and UK domestic projects. This will include a wide range of medical areas and methodologies including multi-modal segmentation, emotional insights, motivational mapping, communications development and market landscaping. ‘Lorna’s background and pharmaceutical healthcare research experience make her an exciting addition to our team,’ states Group MD, Nicola Cowland. ‘We believe Lorna will further strengthen our research capabilities and enable us to continue to innovate and deliver high quality research that generates real added value for our clients.’ Web site: www.insightrg.com .
