In the US, financial services specialist Informa Research Services has appointed Monica Najera as Director of Compliance and Risk Management. The Calabasas, CA-headquartered firm is a subsidiary of information and events group Informa plc and provides competitive intelligence, market research, mystery shopping, and compliance testing services to the financial services sector. Najera joins from Bank of America, where as SVP she oversaw compliance and operational risk monitoring functions spanning the bank’s consumer business. Before this, she worked for Countrywide in the home loans compliance division, prior to its acquisition by Bank of America.
