US-based research and consulting firm The Pert Group has announced four new appointments and a promotion. Eric Wolfeiler joins as Group Director, Adam Conley as Senior Account Director, and Allison Donahue and Tony Szajna as Account Managers; meanwhile Alysse Polakowski is promoted to Account Manager in the firm’s Beverage Group.

Established in 1978, The Pert Group is headquartered in Bloomfield, CT, with offices in Kansas City, MO, and Pittsburgh, PA. The Beverage Group provides insights to help clients introduce line extensions, reach new markets and revitalize brand strategies.

Wolfeiler joins with more than 10 years’ experience managing market research for prominent beverage brands. During his career, he has worked as VP at TNS, and as Senior Marketing Research Manager at Allied Domecq Spirits and Wines, where he managed custom and syndicated research. He earlier held positions at Marketing Corporation of America and Yankelovich Partners.

Conley joins with more than seven years’ experience leading, developing and managing a wide variety of MR initiatives across multiple industries. Most recently, he worked with Invoke Solutions using their qual/quant online technology platform to conduct communication and ad testing, concept evaluation, naming/packaging evaluation and new product/brand assessment. Previously, he worked for Research International and for Copernicus Marketing Consulting and Associates.

Prior to joining, Donahue worked in client services at Millward Brown, progressing from Assistant Research Executive to Senior Research Manager over a five-year period. In her new role, she will use her experience in brand tracking, copy testing, early concept and brand equity research to manage all phases of quant projects.

Szajna’s expertise is in planning and managing multiple qual and quant research projects. Before joining, he served as a Market Research Analyst at Group 4, and as a Psychologist at the Natick Soldier Center.

Polakowski joined The Pert Group in 2008 as Insights Manager. She previously worked for Ipsos, supporting clients in the pharma and consumer packaged goods industries. In her new position, Polakowski manages projects end-to-end for alcohol beverage clients.
