In the US, online qual agency iModerate Research Technologies has hired Steve Auerbach and David Baron as Vice Presidents of Sales, East and West respectively. Denver, Colorado-based iModerate, which was founded in 2004, provides customized online qualitative research solutions. Auerbach joins with 17 years’ market research industry experience. During his career, he has had two stints at Gartner - most recently as a Senior Account Exec for Higher Education & Academic Medical Centers and before this, as Dataquest Sales Specialist. In between these appointments, he was SW Region Sales Manager at iSuppli, and he co-founded a sales and marketing agency, which he ran for nine years. Earlier in his career, he worked as a Global Account Sales Director at IDC for 10 years. Baron has held business development and management roles in the technology industry since 1996. He previously worked at direct marketing group IDG Connect, and was Director of Sales at Ziff Davis’ Web Buyer’s Guide, where he managed the sales team and provided online lead generation consulting services for IT vendors and agencies. ‘I have no doubt that Steve and David will help spread our methodology, be extremely valuable resources for our clients and build some tremendous long-term relationships,’ states iModerate CEO, Carl Rossow.
