In the US, Mary McIlrath and Scott Hierbaum have both been promoted to the role of Partner at full service agency C+R Research.

Chicago-based C+R Research is a consumer and market insights firm, which uses a combination of traditional and non-traditional qual and quant methodologies to uncover attitudes to brands and consumer behavior.

The firm has specialist youth and family, Latino, and shopper divisions, and its YouthBeat youth and family-based subscription service offers an in-depth look at youth culture.

McIlrath, who joined the firm in 2003 as Senior Vice President of Qualitative Research, is responsible for leading C+R’s Kid and Family Qualitative and Qualitative Methods teams. Earlier in her career, she served as Senior Research Manager at Disney ABC Cable Networks Group, and before this, she worked for Fox Family and Warner Bros.

Hierbaum joined C+R in 2002 as Senior VP and Chief Financial Officer, responsible for the oversight and performance of the firm’s financial and human resource functions.
