ICM Research has hired former COI exec Tom Wormald as a Research Director - he also joins the Management Board.
In his new role he will work closely with Director James Turner, with a focus on continuing to grow the firm’s communities and panels business.
Wormald brings and a decade’s experience working in the public, business and academic sectors. He spent just under four years at the COI, initially as a Strategic Analyst and latterly as Engagement Consultant, helping public sector clients to involve citizens and stakeholders to improve outcomes in policymaking and service design. Prior to this he worked on qual and quant projects and helped develop the use of deliberative research techniques at Opinion Leader. He holds a PhD in Social Anthropology.
According to Turner: ‘Tom is a senior hire that gives ICM a different viewpoint that complements our sector experts... his unrivalled understanding of human interactions will help develop our proposition within communities and panels.’
