In New York, Ipsos Health has appointed former P&G researcher Susan Baxter as Vice President, and former In-Sync director David Scowcroft as Senior Vice President.

Baxter joins with a 15-year background gained at Procter & Gamble, where she focused on healthcare and pharmaceuticals. In her new role, she will provide client consultation and senior leadership to one of Ipsos’s research teams.

Scowcroft also brings more than 15 years of experience to his new role, with ten of those focused on healthcare research. Prior to joining, he spent more than four years as Director of the Quant Practice at customer insights consultancy In-Sync, where he developed integrated research systems across the firm’s multiple methods (qual, quant and sociological).

Before this, he was VP at Lieberman Research, and served as Senior Research Manager at Sanofi-Aventis. Earlier in his career, he held senior positions at Research International and Ipsos Reid.

‘David and Susan will add tremendous value in terms of understanding business issues and using research to inform and shape strategic and tactical implementation,’ states SVP Fred LaManna.

In addition to these appointments, Ipsos Health made five hires in June including Jane Wilson who rejoins as a Manager, having previously spent ten years at Ipsos. The four other new arrivals, all Research Associates, are Brittany Bare, Gina Maggi, Katherine Sharga and Andrew Zoller.
