In the UK, Cello-owned RS Consulting has promoted Rob Carr to the post of Trainee Research Executive and appointed Kavita Rainova as Research and Data Assistant. Founded in 1984, RS traded under two brands, RS Consulting and Consensus Research, until November 2010 when it incorporated sister company mruk. It covers a range of sectors including technology, financial services, public sector, not-for-profit, B2B and FMCG. In his new role, Carr, who joined the firm last November, will extend his existing quant research responsibilities, while further developing his qual expertise. ‘This is a significant step up for Rob and reflects the hard work he has put in since joining us,’ states Joint MD Phil Stubington. ‘We are always keen to back talent and commitment, and Rob has demonstrated this in spades.’ Rainova joins from Freshminds, after a period working in research at Macmillan Cancer support. Stubington adds: ‘Kavita brings with her a first class mind and a proven ability in the research arena.
