Pam LevineFormer 20th Century Fox exec Pam Levine has joined cable TV network HBO as EVP of Marketing. She replaces Courteney Monroe who left HBO in September.

Levine’s new role includes overseeing ad campaigns, providing strategic marketing direction, and guiding digital platforms and retail marketing.

Time Warner-owned HBO (Home Box Office) is the second largest subscription channel in America, and also broadcasts in around 151 countries worldwide. Programming comprises movies and original series, as well as documentaries, stand-up comedy and some sports.

She left Fox last December after 16 years at the company, the last nine as Co-President of Domestic Theatrical Marketing, responsible for overall branding, media strategy and campaign strategy. In this role, she led marketing for more than 140 movies and developed marketing strategies for all the studio’s releases. Before this, she oversaw and analyzed all market research conducted on Fox’s domestic theatrical releases.

Working from the firm’s New York HQ, she will report to co-President Erik Kessler who comments: ‘HBO's programming touches every genre and Pam has experience with all of them. She will bring an exciting new perspective as well as an appreciation for the unique nature of our brand and business model.’
