In the US, automotive marketing agency DMEautomotive has promoted consumer behavior and data analytics specialist Doug Van Sach to the role of Vice President, Strategy and Analytics; and hired product marketer Robert Silberman as Director, Product and CRM Strategy.

The company offers science-based marketing to vehicle manufacturers, auto dealerships and aftermarket firms, and is headquartered in Daytona Beach, Florida with operations in Jacksonville, also in Florida.

Its suite of products includes data-driven customer acquisition and retention marketing programs, alongside campaign reporting, data management and analytics, and mail and e-mail fulfilment services.

Van Sach joined the firm in 2008 as Director of the Strategy and Analytics division, tasked with developing customer segmentation approaches and predictive models for several multi-billion dollar clients, as well as the firm’s customer loyalty program. Earlier in his career, he established the CRM insights and analysis function at Dick’s Sporting Goods, and developed online marketing strategy for Galyans Sports and Outdoor.

Silberman was most recently VP of Marketing at Pilot Pen Corporation of America, prior to which he held product management roles at Esselte Pendaflex Corporation.

Comments President and CEO Mike Walther: ‘Doug's ability to take our massive repository of automotive consumer data and turn it into actionable, results-oriented marketing science combined with Rob's track record of driving multi-million dollar sales growth through new product development, will enable us to take automotive marketing exactly where it needs to go for our clients in 2012 - and beyond.’
