James Colvin and Tatyana BaconIn the US, research and consulting firm The Marketing Workshop has appointed James Colvin as Marketing Science Analyst and Tatyana Bacon as Research Manager.

The firm provides a full range of custom qual and quant solutions for both consumer and B2B markets.

Colvin joins from Nielsen, where as an Analyst he analyzed scanner and consumer panel data. Prior to this, he was a Market Research Specialist at auto industry firm Hughes Telematics, performing a wide variety of research including conjoint analysis, market segmentation, pricing and bundling analysis, as well as qual research via focus groups and the firm’s online community.

For the past five years, Bacon worked at Deep Blue Insight, where she gained qual and quant marketing research experience and latterly served as Senior Account Executive. In her new role, she manages all phases of client survey research. She is an experienced focus group moderator and a trained ethnographic interviewer.
