Gary MacFaddenIn the US, IT and data management research and consultancy firm, Enterprise Management Associates (EMA) has announced the appointment of Gary MacFadden as Managing Director in its newly formed Enterprise Content Management (ECM) practice.

MacFadden joins with 25 years’ IT and technology management and consultancy experience. He joins from IT research and advisory consulting firm Robert Frances Group (RFG), of which he was a founding member and managing partner. Here he was involved in groundbreaking work on IT solutions for financial industry regulatory compliance, working with major US banks; and also worked on green data centre initiatives.

Prior to RFG, MacFadden was an Account Manager at META Group (acquired by Gartner Group) and worked for Giga Information Group (acquired by Forrester), IDC’s Insights Group, and IBM partners DAPREX and Ross Computer Systems. He is a frequent contributor to the Wikibon Project research community and an active blogger.
